Published in The Express Times from Feb. 14 to Feb. 15, 2014 Easton, PA Mary W. Burke, 77, of Phillipsburg went home with the Lord on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. Born: August 6, 1936 in Easton she was the daughter of the late William and Grace Blundell. Personal: She grew up in many foster homes and the Easton Children's Home. She last worked for Krauszer Markets and Hunterdon Developmental Center. Among her many joys in life were her family, playing lottery tickets and the Sands Casino. Survivors: She is survived by two daughter's, Debra Godown and husband, Barry, with whom she lived and Pamela Allen and husband, John, of Saylorsburg, PA; three sons Richard Burke, Jr. of Bangor, PA, Gary Burke of Bellefonte, PA and Martin Burke and wife, Jennifer, of Easton; nine grandchildren, Trisha Sandy and husband, Dexter, Gary Burke, Jr., Shawn Burke, Jenna Miller and husband, Zachary, Aaron Godown and wife, Brenda, Anthony and Zakary Burke, Jalen and Joshua Toth; 6 great-grandchildren, Hailey Cassidy, Jovan and Cristian Corrales, Kiara Sandy, Emma and Brody Godown; sister-in-law, Louisa Hower; step-brother, Wayne Hower and wife, Sherry; step-sister, Donna DeHaven and husband, Elmer. She was predeceased by sister, Peggy Caravetta and brother, Clarence Hower. Services: Services are private under the direction of Doyle-Devlin Funeral Home, Inc. in Phillipsburg.
