Williamsport Sun-Gazette 10/9/2015 Page A-7 Williamsport PA Max R. Robbins Max R. Robbins, 75, of Millville, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015 at Williamsport Regional Medical Center. Born July 29, 1940, in Williamsport, he is the son of the late Freeman E. and Rena E. (VanDine) Robbins. He and his wife Gloria J. (Shaner) Robbins celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 6, 2015. Max was owner of Max Robbins Excavating, Unityville. He was an U.S. Army Veteran serving in Thailand during Vietnam. He enjoyed playing cards and the outdoors, hunting with his family, and was a member of Jerseytown Hunting Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Scott A (Carla) Robbins, of Unityville; two daughters, Shelby L (Gary) Weber, of Williamsport, Pamela J. (Kevin) Marquet of York; nine grandchildren Kayla (Michael) Kerrigan, Karley (Josiah) Richard, Franklin Marquet, Dakota and Dylon Snyder, Hunter and Hayden Robbins, Riley and Stefan Weber; a brother, Terry Robbins; and two sisters, Peggy Fritz and Patsy Kramer. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, Inc. 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with Pastor Ronald G. Montgomery officiating.
