Survivors include three daughters, Rita Jenkins and Joreena Pierce, both of Bedford, and Anita Turpin of Kentucky; one son, Lloyd S. Robbins of Mitchell; two sisters, Theresa A. Banks and Rita Nash, both of Mitchell; two brothers, John D. Porter, Jr. of Salem and James F. Porter of Bedford; one half-brother, William G. Hadley of Mitchell, and five grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mitchell Cemetery in Mitchell. There will be no calling hours. Chastain Funeral Home in Mitchell is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Lake was a member of Bride of Christ Fellowship. Born April 13, 1948, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of John Denzil Sr. and Beryl Elizabeth Mann Porter. Survivors include three daughters, Rita Jenkins and Joreena Pierce, both of Bedford, and Anita Turpin, Kentucky; a son, Lloyd Samuel Robbins, Mitchell; two brothers, John Denzil Porter Jr., Salem, and James Franklin Porter, Bedford; a half brother, William Gene Hadley, Mitchell; two sisters, Theresa Ann Banks and Rita Nash, both of Mitchell; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John David Flynn, and a brother, Charles Edward Mann. Brother Jerry Allen and Brother Eugene Pruett will conduct graveside services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mitchell Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
