Mildred MYERS LAKE, (97), passed away on February 15, 2014. She was born March
17, 1916 in Dover (KS) and lived in Topeka (KS) all her life. Mildred married
Kenneth C. MYERS in December of 1936. He died in May of 1987. She married
Dick LAKE in November of 1996. He died in March 2002. Survivors include
son, Richard (Tracie) MYERS, one granddaughter, Riley, and many dearly loved
nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at 10:00am on February 20th
at Penwell Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 Wanamaker Rd., with a celebration
of her life taking place at the same location on February 19th from 6:00pm
until 8:00pm. Burial will be private at West Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu
of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to World War II Veterans
