Mildred M. Lake
Mildred M. Lake, 81, Venice, died Sept. 6, 2000.
She was born March 25, 1919, in Chippewa Falls, Wis., and came to Venice
in 1980 from Waukegan, Ill. She was a homemaker. She was a member of New
Hope Baptist Church in Englewood.
Survivors include her husband, Donald; a daughter, Valerie Weller of
Northbrook, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Barbara Stockton-Lake of Chicago; two
stepsons, Robert Eubanks of Waukegan and William Eubanks of Kenosha, Wis.;
and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, with a service to
follow at New Hope Baptist Church, Englewood. Entombment will follow in
Gulf Pines Memorial Park, Englewood.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer
Society, 2100 S. Tamiami Trail, Suite B, Venice, FL 34293.
