Milton Gale Lake, 61, of Versailles, husband of Katherine Jane Cable Lake,
died unexpectedly Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008.

Born June 28, 1946, he was the son of Marsdon and Agnes Taylor Lake of
Harrodsburg. He was a member of the East End Church of Christ and was
president of the Bluegrass Horse Pulling Association.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Missy Lake and
Barbie Roberts (Sonny); three grandchildren, Kayla, Lakin, and Madison
Roberts; and a sister, Linda Lake.

Services were conducted Tuesday, Feb. 26, at Betts & West Funeral Home,
Nicholasville, by Evangelist Aaron Erhardt. Burial was in the Camp Nelson
National Cemetery. Casket bearers were Ray Powell, Joe Hays, Keith Ricks,
Brent Shelton, Max Anderson, James Humphrey, Bill Cobb, and Troy Sammons.
Honorary bearers were members of the Bluegrass Horse Pulling Association
and members of the East End Church of Christ.
