Visitation is from 6-8 tonight at Folk Funeral Home, Williston. Mrs. Burckhalter, widow of Josh Burckhalter, died November 21, 2001. Born in Old Dunbarton, she was a daughter of the late Julian and Hazel Winegar Lake. She was a member of Elko Baptist Church. Surviving are son, Tony Burckhalter of Aiken; sister, Sybil Franklin of Jackson; grandson, Dillon. She was predeceased by a son. Butch Burckhalter. She was a seamstress at the Williston Manufacturing Company, member of Elko Baptist Church, former Sunday school teacher, piano player and member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class. She was married to the late Josh ONeal "Berky" Burckhalter. Survivors include son, Tony ONeal Burckhalter of Aiken; sister, Sybil Franklin of Jackson and grandson, Dillon.
