Published in Patriot-News on November 27, 2011 Harrisburg PA Miriam M. Lake, 87, formerly of Coatesville, PA died Saturday November 26, 2011 in Hill Farm Estates, Annville. She was the wife of the late Edward Lake. Born in Annville on March 3, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Harry U.L. and Mabel L. Snyder Horst. She was employed in patient services at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Miriam was a 1942 graduate of Annville High School and was an accomplished welder at Lukens Steel Company, Coatesville during WW II. Surviving is a brother David R. Horst of Camp Hill. She was preceded in death by a son Edward "Paul" Lake, brothers Urias, Edward, Ralph, and Uriah Horst, and sisters Violet Lotz, Lovia Horst, Emma Horst, and Kathryn Eisenhour. Graveside services will be held in Mt. Annville Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in her memory.
