DEATHS FISHER, Muriel (Lake ) - Aged 69, passed away, suddenly, on Wednesday, Dec. 29,1999, at her home, in Kitchener. Born and raised in Cannington, Ont., Muriel is survived by her brother, Lloyd Lake and his wife Vi of Orillia and her sister-in-law, Marg Lake. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Fred and her brother, Raymond Lake of Nova Scotia. A beloved mother and friend, she will be sadly missed by her children, Ron Fisher and his wife Cheryl, Eleanor St. John and her husband Brian, Nancy Whittemore and her husband David, Jim Fisher and his wife Tina, Susan Fisher and her friend Len and Tim Fisher; cherished grandmother to Ian, Amy, Carrie, Jonathan, Brennan, Danielle, Kris, Dylan and Emily. Muriel, ".Grandma Fisher" to many, was a shy and thoughtful woman who touched the lives of all who knew her. Muriel's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000 from 1-2 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home on Sunday at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the spring at Smith's Cemetery, Woodville. Donations to the Kitchener Waterloo Leukemia Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
