Mrs. Muriel Scorese of Port Jervis, NY, a longtime resident of the area, died Saturday, September 18, 2004 at O.R.M.C., Horton Campus, Middletown, NY. She was 85. She was born June 10, 1919 in Matamoras, PA, the daughter of the late Gilbert and the late Helen Gore. Survivors include her son, Neil G. Barnes and his wife Linda of Matamoras, PA; daughter, Helene Collignon of Carolina Beach, NC; sister, Helen Lake of Middletown, NY; grandson, Francis Conklin and his wife Paula of Warwick; great-granddaughter, Teryn Conklin of Warwick, also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Russell Schneider; three brothers: George Gore, James Gore and William F. Gore and a sister, Christine Goble. Friends may call at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 E.
