MRS. MURIEL SCORESE Port Jervis, N.Y. Mrs. Muriel Scorese of Port Jervis,
NY, a longtime resident of the area, died Saturday, September 18, 2004
at O.R.M.C., Horton Campus, Middletown, NY. She was 85. She was born
June 10, 1919 in Matamoras, PA, the daughter of the late Gilbert and the
late Helen Gore. Survivors include her son, Neil G. Barnes and his wife
Linda of Matamoras, PA; daughter, Helene Collignon of Carolina Beach,
NC; sister, Helen Lake of Middletown, NY; grandson, Francis Conklin
and his wife Paula of Warwick; great-granddaughter, Teryn Conklin of
Warwick, also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a
son, Russell Schneider; three brothers: George Gore, James Gore and
William F. Gore and a sister, Christine Goble. Friends may call at the
Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 E.  Main St., Port Jervis on Tuesday,
September 21, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will
be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Gray-Parker
Funeral Home, 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, with Rev. Glenn Scheyhing
officiating. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Matamoras, PA. Funeral
arrangements are by the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 E. Main St., Port
