The Chronicle-Herald/Mail Star; Halifax NS Canada; 2008-5-9 CROSSLEY, Myra Hazel - 83, Windsor, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 8, 2008, in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born in Bramber, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth (Rolfe) Lake. Myra loved to cook. She also enjoyed camping and shopping, as well as spending time with her family. She is survived by daughters, Janet (Lloyd) Hawboldt, Edith (Steve) Baxter; son, Robert; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Myra was predeceased by her husband, Alfred; sisters, Bertha McLellan, Alva Crossley, Maude Lake, Minnie McLellan, and Leona Lake; brothers, Jim, Pleman, and Wallace Lake. Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Lohnes Funeral Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). A public graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10, in Bramber Cemetery, Bramber. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Myra may be made to a charity of one's choice.
