Beloved wife of the late G. Baden Sands. Loving mother of Helen McCalpin of Gananoque; Jean Truesdell (Bernard) of Kingston; Alfred Sands (Gail) of Sunbury; R. Hardy Sands of Battersea. Loving grandmother of Marjorie Cooper, Cheryl Clow, Jim and Bruce McCalpin, Ricky Sands, Kathy Tyson, Brian, Stephen and Robin Sands, Patrick LeGrow and 15 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother Ernest Lake. Predeceased by grandson Gary Sands, sister Dora Chrissley and brothers Clinton and Lorne Lake. The family will receive friends at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (Counter Street and Highway 2) on Sunday, January 10, 1999 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in teh Chapel on Monday, January 11, 1999 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Sandhill Cemetery, Battersea.
