Journal News (Hamilton OH), Sunday, April 11, 2004 - Nancy Clay Nancy E. Clay, age 60, of Fairfield, died on Friday, April 09, 2004, at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. Born on January 7, 1944, in McKee, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late James Austin and Opal Elizabeth (Medlock) Lake. She graduated with the 1962 Class of Ross High School and attended Business College. On July 27, 1963, in Colerain Township, Nancy married Billy Paul Clay and he preceded her in death on January 5, 2002. Nancy was employed by General Electric for fourteen years as an aircraft technician. She was a member of the Rolling Hills Baptist Church. She was very proud to be a school bus driver for the Fairfield School system. Nancy is survived by two sons, Billy Clay, Jr., and Chad A. Clay, both of Fairfield, Ohio; daughter, Autumn Clay of Sacramento, California; two grandchildren, Billy Clay, III, and Jessica Clay, both of Fairfield, Ohio; four sisters, Wanda Kiefer and her husband John of Fairfield, Sonja Hawn of Cincinnati, Austina Gentry and her husband John of Middletown, and Martha McDaniel and her husband Roy of Franklin, Tennessee; numerous nieces and nephews; in-laws, Mick and Carol Clay of Forest, Ohio, Steve Clay of Utah, Toni and Leonard Cox of Belle Center, Ohio, Mike and Tobi Sanders of Cincinnati, and Dick and Gina Price of Forrest, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South "D" Street, Hamilton, at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 12, 2004, with Rev. Jacob S. Flannery of Franklin Street Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 5:00 p.m. until time of the service.
