Eagle Tribune; Lawrence, Ma; 1999-3-31 NEWBURYPORT -- Nellie F. Lake, 88, of 180 Low St., died Monday evening at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport. Mrs. Lake was born in Salisbury, where she spent most of her life before moving to Newburyport. She was a member of East Parish Methodist Church in Salisbury and a former member of the former Cushing Club at Salisbury Beach. She enjoyed playing cards, reading and going to the Ocean Echo, now known as the Frolics, at Salisbury Beach. Mrs. Lake leaves husband Edward C. Lake; daughters Evelyn E. and her husband John Bruno of Salem, N.H., Cora L. French of West Newbury, Evelyn G. and her husband Henry Jackman of Seabrook, N.H., and Arlene F. and her husband Glenn Giampa of Salisbury; sons Edward C. Jr. and his wife Grace of Seabrook, Emery W. and his wife Roselyn of Salisbury and Brent L. and his wife Cheryl of Salisbury; brother Willard A. Fowler of Seabrook; 21 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at East Parish United Methodist Church, One Lafayette Square, Salisbury. Burial will follow in Long Hill Cemetery in Salisbury. Family and friends may call tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Simplicity Burial and Cremation Services, 287 High St., Newburyport.
