Williamsport Sun-Gazette 1/14/2017 Page A7 Williamsport, PA Neva Pauline (Charles) Robbins, 96, of Benton, passed away Friday Jan. 13, 2017, at the Gardens at Orangeville. She was born Oct. 8, 1920, in Jordan Township, a daughter of the late Arthur and Letha B. (Evans) Charles. She attended Jordan Schools. She was a member of Wesley Chapel, Tallmar. She enjoyed cooking meals, planting flowers and her favorite food was ice cream. She worked for Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, Bristol, Danville State Hospital and Bloomsburg State. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Dhalas Robbins Sr., who passed away May of 1976; a great-granddaughter, Jessica Hittle, who passed away in 1998; and eight brothers and sisters, Curtis, Sheldon, Ivan, Bruce, Marvin, Joyce Charles, Thelma Whitenight, and Clarissa Puterbaugh Little. She is survived by three sons, Dhalas Robbins Jr. and his wife Barbara, of Bloomsburg, Larry Robbins and his wife, Mary, of Benton and Franklin Robbins and his wife Linda, of Stillwater; two daughters, Teresa and her husband, Vince Carter of Littleton, Colo. and Melinda and her husband, Kevin Conlon, of Columbus, Ohio; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Maarjorie Bodine, of Orangeville. Service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Bunnell Funearal Home, Inc. 179 E Main St., Millville, with Pastor Dough Lyon officiating. Burial will be at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be mad in her memory to the Wesley Chapel Cemetery, payable to the Wesley Chapel Cemetery Association c/o Roger Charles, 587 Beech Glen Road, Benton, PA 17814.
