NICHOLAS CECIL LAKE
March 23, 1914 - May 21, 2001
    A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 24, 2001 at Riverside Baptist
Church with Eddie Scroggins officiating.
    Mr. Lake was born March 23, 1914 in Snyder, CO to Franklin and Christine
(Meyers) Lake. He graduated from Snyder High School. On September 29, 1937 he
married Lucille Ritchey in Moab, UT.
    He was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church of Grand Junction, he enjoyed
woodworking, gardening, and spending time with his family and grand kids.
    Mr. Lake is survived by his wife Lucille, two sons' Cecil R (Dick) Lake of
Alice, TX and Harold D Lake of Grand Junction, two daughters; Darlene Hinkle of
Grand Junction and Carol Ottman of Grand Junction, 14 grand CHildren, 15 great
grandchildren and on one great great grandchild.
    Memorial contribution may be made to the Heart or Lung association in care of
Calahan Edfast Mortuary.
