Billerica Minuteman; Needham MA; 2006-9-21 NOKOMIS, Fla. - Nicholas Lakos, 82, died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006. He was the husband of Yole Lakos. He was born in New Bedford on Nov. 16, 1923. Following 15 years as a winter resident of East Sandwich, he moved to Nokomis two years ago. Mr. Lakos served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was the owner/operator of Classic Coiffures in Winchester. In addition to his wife of 45 years, he is survived by five sons, James Lakos of Sterling, John Lakos of Londonderry, N.H., Chris Lakos of Salem, N.H., Steve Lakos of Billerica, and Paul Lakos of Salem, N.H.; 10 grandchildren; and a brother, William Lakas in New Jersey.
