Calaveras Enterprise; Calaveras County CA; 2007-4-27 Patricia Bowman Homemaker Patricia L. Bowman died Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital sfter a brief illness. She was 83. A native of Redwood City, Mrs. Bowman was born Jan. 31, 1924 to Esmond and Anne Lakin. She attended school in Chinese Camp and graduated from Sonora High School in 1940. She worked at the Rockabella Olive Plant and was a census-taker for many years. She and her husband operated the Union 76 gas station in San Andreas for many years. She was an active member of the PTA and was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader. Mrs. Bowman is survived by her daughters, Anne (Bob) Bell, Tish (Ken) Hart; her son, David Bowman and his partner Pam Kramer; sister Donna Wolfe; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 45 years, Bud Bowman. A vigil and mass of Christian burial will be held at noon today at St. Andrews Catholic Church in San Andreas. Interment will follow at St. Andrews Catholic Cemetery.
