The Chronicle Centralia, Washington Wednesday, March 30, 2011 Patsy R. Kennan Patsy Rae (Lakey) Keenan, 71, of Chehalis passed away March 26, 2911. Pat was born on Sept. 18, 1939, in Eastern Washington. On Feb. 21, 1956, she married the love of her life, Wayne H. Kennan. They had four children, Linda (Don) Clintsman, Sue (Rick) Allender, Monica (Brian) Wrzesinski, and Steve (Kim) Keenan. She was a homemaker for most of her life and later on worked at verious restaurants. Pat's hobbies included clam digging, pinochle, gardening, yard work, and wood crafts. She liked watching all the birds that came to the feeders, especially the large number of hummingbirds. She also enjoyed hosting Easter celebration for her entire family. Pat volunteered for several years at God's Closet and the Salkum Food Bank. One of her favorite places to visit was Reno. Pat was preceded in death by her husband Wayne in 1989, mother Ethel Rowland in 2010, and her sisters Viola Riedle and Joanne Wagar. In addition to her children, she is survived by her dad Elveste and Joanne Wagar, brothers and sisters Jim (Carolyn) Lakey, Frances (Ted) Palmer, Richard (Corby) Lakey. Pan (Terryi) Carns, Leinanei (Ed) Aboen, 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 2 at Cattermole Funeral Home, 203 NW Keron St., Winlock. Sercices will be held at 2:00 p.m, Saturday 2, at Salkum Community Church, 149 Wilcon Rd., Salkum, followied by a brief graveside service. Family and friends are also invieted to a potluck celebration of life immediately afterwards at the church fellowship hall.
