Herald Standard; Uniontown Pa; 2000-8-14 & 2000-8-15 Pearl Lake Michener Pearl M. Lake Michener, 93, of Hopwood, Pa., went to be with The Lord on Sunday, August 13, 2000. She was born September 16, 1906, in Elliottsville, Pa., daughter of Walter Lake and Sarah Stanton Lake. Mrs. Michener was a member of Grace Brethren Church, Uniontown. Her husband, David Roy Michener, whom she married in 1948, died in 1977. Also deceased are a sister, Blanche Conaway, two brothers, Earl Lake and Wilburt Lake, and her parents. She is survived by two sons: Edward E. Rishel and his wife, Joanne, of Granada Hills, California, and Darrell W. "Buster" Rishel and his wife, Eleanor, of Uniontown, Pa.; five grandchildren: Kim Byars, Jill Smith, Lori Rishel Show, Darrell E. Rishel, Timothy Rishel; eight great-grandchildren: Kelly Byars, Michelle Byars, Rachel Smith, Zach Smith, Kayla Show, Steven Show, Emily Pearl Rishel, David E. Rishel; and five sisters: Edna Fischer of Uniontown, Ruth Pawlak of Hopwood, Nora Barclay of Chalk Hill, Pa., Hilda Raymond of State College, Pa., and Dorothy Tuttle of Hopwood. Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, August 16, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Darrel Taylor, her Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Brown Cemetery, Elliottsville. Memorials in her name may be made to Grace Brethren Church, Grace Lane, Uniontown, PA 15401.
