Peggy S. Lake, 52, of Gibbon died Saturday, October 11, 2014 at her 
residence south of Gibbon.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Horner 
Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services in Kearney. Rev. Dean 
Pofahl will officiate and burial will be at the Riverton Cemetery in 
Riverton, Nebraska. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Memorials 
are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date. Visit

charge of arrangements.

She was born May 28, 1962 in Omaha to William and Gloria (Jennings) Lake. 
She attended school in Franklin then graduated from Gibbon High School in 
1980. She attended Norfolk community College and studied nursing. She worked 
at Good Samaritan Hospital then lived in Grand Island then Omaha before 
moving to Gibbon in 2012.

Peggy enjoyed drawing and writing poems. She will be very much missed by her 
little fuzzy friends; Mike, Teddy, Patches and Charlie. They loved her 
dearly and she in turn loved them.

Survivors include her parents; Bill and Gloria Schmidt of Gibbon, father; 
William Lake of Grand Island, NE, sons; Warren Schmidt and Allen Anderson 
both of Kearney, sister; Vicki Moats and husband John of Kearney, brothers; 
Daniel of Gibbon and David of Kearney, half sister Karen of England and 
several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
