Born on December 8, 1927, in Five Islands, Colchester Co. He was a son of the late Henry and Annie (Anthony) Lake. Percy was a member of Cambridge Christian Assembly and he valued the fellowship of the assembly. He enjoyed sharing his love for music and golfing. Percy's greatest love was his family and friends. He enjoyed going to Tim Horton's, socializing with everyone in Windsor. He was wellknown for his sense of humour. Percy's favourite hockey team was the Montreal Canadiens and he felt sorry for the Toronto Maple Leaf fans. Surviving are his wife the former, Marjorie McLellan; children, David (Anne), Norton, N.B.; Sandra Wilcox, Sudbury, Ont.; Elaine Redden (Garwin Burgess), Kempt Shore; Tim (Shirley), Cambridge; Henry (Paula), Cambridge; foster son, Roger Martin, Shubenacadie; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; great great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Mary (Graham) Wilson, Dorothy (Nelson) MacAskil, Connie (Jim) Michaelis, Susan (Larry) McLellan, Martel McLellan (Bonnie Webb); brother, Walter (Eva), Windsor; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife, Melba; infant son, Percy Matthew; grandson, Jason Lake; brothers, Clarence, Bill, Bob, Gilbert, Herbert; sister, Frances; sons-in-law, Gary Redden, Howard Wilcox. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday, May 19, in Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home (902-798-2232), 194 King St., Windsor. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, May 20, in Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home Chapel. Richard Morse and nephew Percy Lake officiating. Interment will be in High Head Cemetery, Cambridge.
