Joe Cruse Jr., Rev. Joe Cruse III, Rev. Peggy Edge and Kyle Lake officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park, Jacksonville, under the direction Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville. She was born April 5, 1934 in Farris, She was a retired registered nurse anesthetist. During her career she was on staff at ETMC Nan Travis, Jacksonville, Memorial Hospital, Nacogdoches, and retired while on staff at Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. She received her BSRN degree, was a graduate of St. Paul School of Nursing in Dallas and was a graduate of St. Joseph School of Anesthesia in Fort Worth. She was a member of First Christian Church, Jacksonville. Survivors include her Husband, Dewald Lake, Jacksonville; two sons, Gus Lake and David Q. Lake, both of Jacksonville; two sisters, Barbara Williams, Wichita Falls, and Patricia Cole, Tulsa, Okla.; two grandchildren, Dusty Lake and Paden Lake, Both of Jacksonville; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are John Lake, Tommy Treadwell, Wayne Thompson and Kyle Lake. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Wayne Ralston, Woody Frazier, Chance Hamilton, Ben Hamilton, Bob Kettrick. Dr. Jimmy Harkins, Dr. Alfonso Saade, Steve Bowen, Gregg Cummins and Ron Widenback. Visitation will be 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept 18, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the first Christians Church of Jacksonville.
