The Chronicle-Herald/Mail Star; Halifax NS Canada; 2010-4-27 LAKE, Randolph Nathan "Randy" - 49, Walton, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2010, in East Walton. Born May 28, 1960, in Halifax, he was a son of Margaret "Margie" (Ward) and the late Milton Lake. Randy was a member of the Walton Volunteer Fire Department. He owned and operated his own business, which he was proud of and always had his dog "Buddy" at his side. He also worked for Dexter's Construction driving truck. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and loved to spend time with his family and many friends. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his sons, Nathan (Tamie), Truro; Brian (Laura), Dartmouth; his companion, Sherry Kaiser and her daughter Chanessa; grandchildren, Dakina and Sadonie; step grandchildren, Alexia and Joseph; stepdaughter, Carla; brothers, Harold (Crystal), Kennetcook; Kevin (Teresa), East Walton; Dwayne and Curtis, both of East Walton; sisters, Wanda Eddy (Peter), Noel and Dorthy White (Shannon), Alberta; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held today from 7-9 p.m. in J.Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy 215, Summerville. Funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Grace United Church, Walton, Rev Christine Johnson officiating with interment in Grace United Church Cemetery. A reception to follow in the Walton Fire Hall, Walton. Family flowers only. Donations can be made to Grace United Church Cemetery or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
