Raymond Lake

SHREVE -- Raymond Dean Lake, 75, of Shreve, died Saturday, Jan. 10,
2009, at Wooster Community Hospital.

Memorial services will be Saturday, Jan. 17, at 11 a.m. at Highland
Church of God, with the Rev. Mark A. McCord officiating. Burial will be
in Newkirk Cemetery.

Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, of Wooster is handling

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Dean was born July 16, 1933, in Shreve to Carl H. and Pearl (Smail)
Lake, and had attended Big Prairie schools. He was never married, and
was a life-long farmer.

He attended Highland Church of God, and enjoyed tractor pulls and
attending the Wayne County Fair.

Dean will be deeply missed by his long-time companion, Eloise Bowman
of Wooster; a nephew, Ron (Nancy) Daugherty of Shreve; great-nieces,
Kathleen Ferrara and Jennifer (Wolfgang) Meyerin; and a great-nephew,
Rodney Daugherty.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Daugherty.
