LAKE, Raymond W., 83, Went on permanent R&R status with our Lord on May
19th comforted in the loving arms of his wife of 61 years, Patricia, and
surrounded by a family of friends at Crescent Run Community, Mesa, AZ.
He is survived by children, Betty Lake, Sandra Smyth, and Larry Lake of
the Valley; grandson, Steven Smyth, brother-in-law, Herb Schmidt, CA.
Served U.S. Army WWII. Life time member American Legion. Post Commander
in Marion and Des Moines, IA. Memorial Service Monday, June 8, 9:00 a.m.
Crescent Run Ballroom. Rev. Don Coble officiating. Burial services with
Full Military Honor Color Guard will be at Cave Creek National Cemetery,
12:30 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, donations to Crescent Run Veterans Club
appreciated. We salute you, Ray - May you finally rest in peace.
