REINO    LAKE    SR.

     IRON RIVER-Reino A. Lake Sr., 78, of 1019 N. Eighth Ave. died
suddenly and unexpectedly April 24 at Iron County General Hospital.

     He was born Aug. 11, 1910, in Stambaugh. He attended the Iron River
schools and graduated from Iron River High School in 1929. On Feb. 25,
1932, he married the former Cecelia Karnack in Iron River, and they
celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1982. He was employed
by P.C. Monday Tea Co. of Milwaukee for more than 30 years, retiring in
1973. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Iron River.

     He is survived by his wife, Cecelia of Iron River; a son, Reino Lake
Jr. of Iron Mountain; three daughters, Nancy Bastianello of Stambaugh,
Marie McMahon of Pickett, Wis., and Vicki Lantz of Boring, Ore.; a sister,
Ellen Mahon of Munising; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

     Visitation was held Tuesday, April 25, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Jacobs
Funeral Home in Iron River, where the parish rosary was recited at 8 p.m.

     Services will be held Wednesday, April 26, at 9:45 a.m. at the Jacobs
Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church with the Rev.
Aloysius Hasenberg, pastor, officiating.

     Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
