Carpenter, 67 Reuben Lake of Ellenville, a retired cwrpenter and member of Local 255 in Rock Tavern, died Tuesday, January 23, 2001, at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. He was 67 years of age. The son of the late Reuben and Frances Taylor Lake, he was born March 3, 1933, in Ellenville. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in Korea during 1953 and 1954. He is survived by his wife, Catholene Lake, at home; four children by a previous marriage, Helen Lake of Accord, Michael Lake of Briggs Highway, John Lake and his wife, Pamela, of Accord, and Christopher Lake and his wife, Melissa of Grahamsville; eight grandchildren; and three sisters. Friends may call at the Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 21 Canal St., Ellenville, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Jay Vogelaar officiating.
