      Richard D. LAKE - Of Mt. Morris, age 83, died Thursday, September 6,
      2001 at his home. Funeral services will be 3PM Sunday from the Miles
      Martin Funeral Home, Pastor Henry Blue will officiate. Friends
      may call at the funeral home 1PM until time of services on
      Sunday. Richard was born May 23, 1918 in Fairgrove, the son
      of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert and Annie (Farley) Lake. He and Effie
      W. Barnett were united in marriage March 19, 1966. He retired from
      Buick Motor Division 1983 as a Journeyman Welder Engineer with 44
      years service. Surviving are: his wife, Effie; 3 children, Mary
      Dunnigun, Ella Mae Radtke and Toby Lee Baldwin; 5 grandchildren;
      and several great- grandchildren. Arrangements by Miles Martin
