Lake, age 29, of the township of Hay River passed away on April 28, 2006, at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. Richie was born on June 19, 1976, in Menomonie to Rick and Gloria (Retz) Lake. He was a jack-of-all-trades, and had a heart of gold. He loved playing games, not only with the children but on children. His newly found family, Glory, Erica and Taylor, made him feel so happy, no matter what they were doing. He enjoyed snowmobiling, riding 4-wheeler, off-road truck racing, driving tractor, playing paintball games, hunting and fishing, doing taxidermy work with his dad and uncle, working on the race truck, tractors and anything with power, tractor pulling and especially spending time with his many family, friends and pets. Richie is preceded in death by his grandpa, Herbert Lake; cousin, MacKenzie Bussiere; uncle, Emil 'Butch' Retz, Jr.; and brother-in-law, Charles Frey. Burial will be in Hay River Cemetery, township of Hay River.
