RICHARD KENNETH LAKE May 30, 1922 - December 12, 2006 It is with great
sadness that we announce the death of Richard K. Lake after suffering from
illness at the Medical Hill Hospital in Oakland. He was born on May 30,
1922 in St. Joseph, Michigan. He was a retired US Navy and served during
World War II. He is survived by his ex-wife and best friend Araceli Lake,
step daughter Angelina Lake-Legaspi, grandchildren Ricardo, John, Pamela
and Leona, great grandchildren. Richard is known as DAD to everyone. He
is loving and caring and loves to talk. He loves country music (Merle
Haggard).  Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation and
vigil on Sunday, December 17, 2006 from 12:00 noon until 9:00 P.M. at
the Greer Family Mortuary, 2694 Blanding Avenue, Alameda, CA 94501. For
