SOUTHINGTON - Richard Lake, 60, died Sunday, April 18, at New Britain
General Hospital. Richard resided in Palo Alto, Calif., for many years. He
most recently resided in Southington with his mother, Mary Lake, at 67
Village Road. Richard was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force,
worked as an LPN at the Veterans Hospital in Palo Alto, and at the Stamford
Medical Center, also in California. He is survived by his mother, Mary
Lake; two sisters and their husbands, Valerie and Timothy Beeble of Bethel
and Kimberly and Michael Gray of Cheshire; nephews, Patrick and Matthew
Gray; and longtime close friend, Sharon Ashman of Naugatuck. Private
services are planned. Donations in Richard's memory may be made to the
American Cancer Society.
