   HOUSTON - Robert "Bob" Daggett Lake, 62, died Friday, Aug. 27, 1999,
in Houston.

   Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Settegast-Kopf Funeral
Directors Chapel.

   He was born Nov. 28, 1936, in San Angelo and had been a resident of
Houston for over 40 years. He was a former banker and investor and a
member of First United Methodist Church-Downtown.

   Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Dozier Lake of Houston; two
brothers, Sam Lake of Jackson, Miss., and William H. Armstrong III of
San Angelo; two nieces; two nephews; and a great nephew.
