ROBERT TAYLOR LAKE, 85, Little Rock, departed this life Oct. 27, 2006, at
Fort Roots Hospital. He was the oldest deacon at New Hope Baptist Church,
North Little Rock. He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife
of 51 years, Jean Payne Lake; sons, Danny Jones, Norris Harris, Pastor
Steve Lake; daughters, Doris Banks, Stephanie Stallworth, Robbie Lake,
Veronica (Maurice) Brooks; 14 grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren ; a
host of relatives and friends.  Visitation Thursday, Nov. 3, 6-7 p.m.,
