COOPERSTOWN
Robert W. Lake Jr, 77, of Cooperstown and formerly of River
Edge, N.J., died on May 25, 1999.

Mr. Lake served his country in the Army in World War II. He graduated from
Utica College of Syracuse University. He was retired from the FBI and was a
member of the Leatherstocking Golf Club in Cooperstown.

He was the beloved husband of Elsie B. Lake (Campbell); loving father of
James R. Lake of Closter, N.J., David R. Lake of Atlanta, Ga., and Donna B.
Cort of Hampden, Maine; and cherished grandfather of seven grandchildren.

A memorial service was held at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in
Closter, N.J.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer
Society and/or Hospice at Bergen Community Health Care, 400 Old Hook Rd.,
Westwood, N.J. 07675.
