Arizona Republic; Phoenix AZ; 2006-7-22 Roma Fischer LAKE, 90, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2006, in Scottsdale, AZ. She was born on January 8, 1916 in New Braunfels, Texas and lived there until she moved to St. Louis, MO to become a nurse at Deacconess Hospital. She married James Stuart Lake, Jr. and the family resided in Webster Groves, MO. She was predeceased by her husband, son James Stuart Lake III and his wife Gail Bloxom Lake, son Robert Steven Lake, and her 4 sisters and one brother. She is survived by her daughter Carol Read Lake and her husband Thomas F Coe of Scottsdale, 2 granddaughters, Catherine Coffey Peach and Nichol Marie Lake, 3 great grandsons, Kyle, Ryan, and Colton Peach and her oldest sister Elsa Fisher Sparkman of Downey, CA, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends. A Memorial Service will be held July 29, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the Congregational Church of the Valley, 12001 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale, AZ 85259.
