Tacoma News Tribune Tacoma, Washington Friday, May 25, 2012 Ronald Grant Lake Ronald Lake was born March 17, 1926 in Peshastin, Washington. He was a long-term resident of Lakewood. Ron worked for many years at the National Bank of Washington in their Trust Department, and for the last 25 years as an accountant in his own firm. He passed away peacefully on May 21st after a brief illness, surrounded by his family. He was 86 years old. His primary interest was his ministry as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his loving family and many friends. Ron is remembered by his friends and family as a deeply compassionate, loving husband, father and friend. He is survived by his sister Mona Evans of Sumner, and his wife of 64 years, Elaine, daughters Janice and Joyce, son-in-law Lee, three grandchildren and their spouses, and two great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed. His family would like to thank St. Joseph's Hospital for the wonderful care he received there. Remembrances may be donated to your local Kingdom Hall or the Puyallup Assembly Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 11515 62nd Ave. E, Puyallup, WA 98373. A memorial service will be held for him there on Monday, May 28th, 2012 at 3:00 PM.
