Published in the Saginaw News [online] on 7/8/2008 Saginaw MI Lake Ronald William Saginaw, Michigan Loving husband and father passed away Sunday, July 6, 2008 at his home with his family by his side. Age 65 years. Ronald William Lake was born on May 26, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to William A. and Betty L. Lake. He married Kristen Marshall on December 23, 1998, she survives him. Ronald was employed by General Motors for 35 years, retiring as a supervisor in 1990. He also worked for Gobeyn's Service Station in the early 1960's to the mid 1970's. Ronald was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, boating, fishing, hunting and being outside. Ronald is survived by wife, Kristen, two daughters: Tracy (Perry) Lund of Birch Run, and Michelle (Marty) Fauver of Saginaw, four grandchildren: Tabitha (Lund) Heinz, Justin, Cameron and Casey Fauver, his mother, Betty L. Lake of Oscoda, two brothers: Richard (Mary) Lake of Queencreek Arizona, and David (Ann) Lake of Oscoda, one sister, Carol (Mel) Green of Aurora, Indiana. He is also survived by a sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Kathy and Bob Jackson of Saginaw, a niece and nephew: Emma and Cory Jackson of Saginaw, sister-in-law, Kimberly Mumby of Detroit, two nephews: Brandon and Kyle Mumby of Detroit, a brother-in-law, Brad Rose of Saginaw, and his beloved Snuggles. The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice of Michigan, the 6th floor ICU at Covenant Harrison and Apria Home Health Care for their dedication. The family would also like to thank Pastor Young for his special kindness and support to the family. Following Ronald's wishes cremation has taken place. He is preceded in death by his father, William A. Lake, and his grandfather and grandmother.
