Hagerstown Herald-Mail Hagerstown MD October 9, 2007 Rosalie Mary Joy, 88, of 1183 Luther Drive, Hagerstown, Md., passed away Monday, Oct. 8, 2007, at Ravenwood Lutheran Village, Hagerstown. Born Thursday, May 22, 1919, in McConnellsburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Elbert Lake and the late Grace Steach Lake. She was a member of Grace Brethren Church, the BPOE and the Moose. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Floyd Joy; one daughter, Elaine Holler of New Windsor, Md.; two brothers, William Lake of Baltimore and Leo Lake of Baltimore; one grandchild, Daniel F. Holler of Mount Airy, Md.; great grandchildren, PFC Richard Shawn Kneisel of Fort Lewis, Wash., Dennis W. Holler of Ohio, Kraig A. Holler of Ohio, Daniel J. Holler Sr. of Silver Spring, Md., and Capt. Brian Hayes of Arizona; and one great-great-grandchild, Daniel J. Holler Jr. of Silver Spring. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Estaline Strait and Alta Lake; five brothers, Donald Lake, James Lake, Gilbert Lake, John Lake and Kleaford Lake; and one grandchild, 2nd Class Petty Officer U.S. Coast Guard Dennis A. Holler. Services will be held Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, with the Rev. Paul Matthews officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home, 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11. Interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Clear Spring.
