Times Herald Norristown, PA Thursday, March 20, 2008 Rose A. Lake, age 98, of Conshohocken, PA, died on Monday March 17, 2008 at Edgehill Nursing Home in Glenside, PA. She was born June 3, 1909 in Pendleton, SC, daughter of the late John and Vinie (Hill) Lake. She was the wife of the late Ephriam Lake. Mrs. Lake attended schools in Pendleton, SC and moved to Conshohocken. She did domestic work for private homes in the Conshohocken area. She was an original member of the St. Paul's Baptist Church, Conshohocken where she served on the Pastor's Aid and the Missionaaries. Mrs. Lake was also a member of the Club Social Life of Conshohocken. Surviving are two daughters: Rose Culbreath, East Norriton and Doris Walker, Roslyn; and a son, Ephriam Lake, Plymouth Twp.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services are going to be held Saturday, March 22 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Baptist Church, 3rd Ave. and Hollowell Sts., Conshohocken. Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Gulph Christian Cemetery, West Conshohocken. Arrangements are by the Richard C. Johnson Jr. FH Inc.
