Rose D. Lake, 96, of Homeland Center, Harrisburg, formerly of Swatara
Twp., died Monday at Homeland Center. She was a retired secretary from
Hershey Creamery Co., Harrisburg. She was a member of St. Catherine
Laboure Catholic Church, and it's Coffee Cup; also a member of the
American Business Women's Association; and a graduate of Harrisburg
Central High School, Class of 1924.  She was preceded in death by her
husband, Joseph M. Lake; brother, Frank J.  Gerace; sister, Sister Rose
Marie Gerace. Surviving are two nephews, Michael Gerace of Edgewater,
MD and Jeffery Gerace of Enola; one niece, Judy Stober of Harrisburg;
four grand-nephews and two grand-nieces. Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, at St. Catherine Laboure
Catholic Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg. Burial will be in
Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at
the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg. Prayer service
will be held at 8 p.m Wednesday at the funeral home. www.neillfh.com
