Rose K. Lake Buckland of Ashland, Ky., went to be her heavenly father
and sons on June 26, 2005, in Hospice Care Center surrounded by her
loving family. Mrs. Buckland was born June 22, 1929.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin Buckland Sr.;
her parents, Albert H. Lake Sr. and Ada E. Conley Lake; two sons, Tim
Buckland and Albert (Obie) Buckland; and one sister, Lois A. Young.

She is survived by a son, Jim (Linda) Buckland of Eufula, Ala.; a
daughter, Theresa L. Ferguson of Ashland; two daughters-in-law, Debbie
Alexander of Ashland and Ella Sue Buckland of Catlettsburg, Ky.; five
sisters, Nellie (Carl) Griffith and Sharon K. Lake, both of Ashland, Wanda
(Phil) Erwin of Catlettsburg, Laura (Robert) York of Worthington, Ky.,
and Jennie (Jimmy) Neal of Parma, Ohio; a brother, June (Bonnie) Lake
of Ashland; 11 grandchildren, Kathy York, Becky Ferguson, Marty (Trish)
Ferguson, Ashley Fritz, Amanda Buckland, Thomas Buckland, Jamie Buckland,
Rosanna Dorton, Kenny Oliver, Bobby Oliver, and Teresa Sis Oliver;
seven great-grandchildren, Jacob York, Shane York, Brianna Diamond,
Charles Oliver, Timmy Marshall, Amy Barnett, and Tiffany McGranahan;
six great-great-grandchldren, Autumn Marshall, Blake Marshall, Brandon
McGranahan, Nikkolas Barnett, Dustin Marshall, and Haleigh McGranahan;
and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Visitation is tonight, June 28, 2005, at Preston Family Funeral Home
in Ashland from 6 to 9. Services will be held at June 29, 2005, at 1
p.m. at Heritage Temple Freewill Baptist Church by the Rev. Tim York and
the Rev. Tim York Jr.  The body will lie in state at the church from noon
until the service hour. She will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Burial Park.
