Rose was a long time resident of Heritage Manor in Sparks where she was actively involved in helping other residents by delivering breads to those less fortunate and supporting and organizing holiday functions in her community. Rose was known throughout her lifetime for always being there for those in need, of a home, a meal, and never knowing a stranger. Rose was preceded in death by her eldest son Donald D. Lake of San Diego, CA and survived by her daughter Denise M. Lake and three grandchildren and their families; Gregory A. Rose was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by her family & friends. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 6, 2003 at 4:00pm at the Sparks Nazarene Church, 2200 El Rancho Dr in Sparks.
