Born in Stellarton, Pictou Co., she was a daughter of the late James and Eunice (Fields) Edwards. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She spent her younger years in the Truro area and later moved to the Annapolis Valley. She is survived by her first husband, Harold Lake, Upper Burlington, Hants Co.; sons, Arthur Lake, Greenwich, Kings Co.; Donald (Mary) Lake, Lower Sackville; daughters, Eunice Sibbick, Brantford, Ont.; Doris (Ted) Suttcliffe-Cruis, Chatham, Ont.; Linda (Winston) Pick, Wolfville Ridge, Kings Co.; sister, Elizabeth "Bessie" Ayres, Goodwood, Halifax Co.; brother, Glenwood (Carol) Edwards, Rockingham, Halifax Co.; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her second husband, Isadore Brewster; son-in-law, William Sibbick; brother-in-law, Ernie Ayres. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by family request. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, in W.C. Hiltz Funeral Parlour, Kentville, Rev. Robert Billings officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Family flowers only by request. Donations in memory may be made to Evergreen Residents Society or a charity of your choice.
