   REDDING - Services for Roy E. Lake, 79, of Redding will be at 4 p.m.
Saturday at the Church of Religious Science in Redding.
   Dr. James Golden of the church will officiate.
   Mr. Lake died Saturday, May 5, 2001, at Northern California Rehabilitation
Hospital in Redding.
   Born Dec. 29, 1921, in Lakeview, Ore., he moved to Shasta County in 1985
from Gold Beach, Ore.
   He was a maintenance supervisor for the Oregon Department of
Transportation.
   Survivors include wife Beth; son Roy Jr. of Coquille, Ore.; sisters Theora
Ambrose of Clearlake Oaks and Lillian Welch of Redding, three grandchildren;
and two greatgrandchildren.
   Memorial contributions can be made to any favorite charity or in the form
of a good deed.
   Arrangements are being handled by Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Redding.
