Royce Lake
1/23/03 - CHESAPEAKE, Va. - Royce A. Lake, 75, of Chesapeake, formerly
of the Jamestown area, died at 6 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 19, 2003) in the
Chesapeake Nursing Home.  He was born Feb. 17, 1927, in Napoli, the son
of Roscoe and Reva Lake.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and had been employed by the Dahlstroms
Mfg. and Jamestown Venear & Plywood.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lake of Chesapeake; three daughters:
Sharon Nelson and Barbara Lake, both of Jamestown, and Sue Ann Lake;
two sons: Daniel Jones of Kingsman, Ariz., and David McLane of Jamestown;
eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Lake.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society of Chesapeake.

Arrangements are by the Hollmon-Brown Funeral Home, Virginia Beach, Va.
