The Chronicle-Herald, Volume 55, Number 274 Halifax NS Canada Tuesday, November 18, 2003 LAKE, Ruby Adeline - 76, Gaspereau Mountain, Kings Co., passed away Monday, November 17, 2003, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in West Brooklyn, Kings Co., she was a daughter of the late Frank and Nora (Sanford) Pinch. She was employed for a number of years with the former Wolfville Holland Bakery, Acadia University and the Wolfville Nursing Home. She enjoyed her flower gardens and working with ceramics. She is survived by her husband, Fred "Kerley"; son, Merle (Merle) Rogers, Gaspereau Mountain; daughters, Sandra (LeRoy) Barkhouse and Dianne (Harold) Barkhouse, all of Gaspereau Mountain; stepdaughter, Wanda Lake, Wolfville; brother, Eldon (Doris) Pinch, West Brooklyn, Kings Co.; sisters, Myrtle (Wilfred) Kennedy, West Brooklyn; Frances Davison and Carol (Churchill) Card, all of Wolfville; Sylvia (Nino) Chiarot, Halifax; Thelma Davison, Alberta; grandchildren, Vicki, Krista and Kirk Barkhouse; Jacqueline Kelly, Deborah Lesley, Kendall Rogers; step-grandchildren, Rhonda Lake and Pamela Kutasienski; three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sister, Barbara. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today in W.C. Hiltz/White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, Rev. Gary Manthorne officiating. Burial will take place in West Brooklyn Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to The Lung Association or a charity of your choice.
