Ruby Jean LYONS, age 65, of Oklahoma City, was born January 16, 1936 in
Scottsville, Illinois to Aaron and Hazel LAKE. Ruby was retired from the
City of Oklahoma City. She was a member of the Quail Springs Baptist Church
for 30 years where she was very active in her love for her church. Ruby
loved her dogs, she loved to cook, travel in her fifth wheel and loved to
meet new people. Ruby passed away on August 5, 2001 in OKC. Sher survivors
include: son, Scott LYONS of Edmond; daughters and sons-in-law: Tracey and
Bryan NANCE of Edmond, Delores and Harold SMITH of Edmond; brothers and
sisters-in-law; Bill and June LAKE, Charles and Betty LAKE, Alfred and
Barbara LAKE; sisters and brothers-in-law; Delores and Jack NEISEWANDER,
Lois and Raymond BARNHILL, Carolyn and Bill BEHRENS; grandson, Matthew and
wife Ginger SMITH; great grandson, Alex SMITH. She is preceded in death by
her husband; Tracey Luther LYONS, parents and brother, Wesley LAKE. Services
are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Aug 8 at Quail Springs Baptist Church.
