Sedalia Democrat; Sedalia MO; 2002-12-10 RUBY PEARL RIECKE, 1916-2002, Norman, Okla.: Ruby Pearl Riecke, 86, of Norman, Okla., formerly of Lincoln, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002, at Cedar Creek Living Center in Norman. She was born Aug. 27, 1916, near Ionia, a daughter of Thomas E. and Pearl Vernon Lake. In 1936, she was married to Clarence Riecke, who died in 1979. Mrs. Riecke grew up in Pettis County. Following her marriage, she lived in Oklahoma for a year and a half. She moved back to Ionia before moving to Lincoln in 1973. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church near Ionia. She enjoyed quilting and writing poetry. Surviving are a son, Carroll Riecke of Norman; two stepdaughters, Loretta Hare of Lincoln and Vivian Krenek of Hallitsville, Texas; two sisters, Dorothy Watskey of Carrollton and Fay Morrison of Jefferson City; a brother, Lawrence Lake of Carrollton; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a stepson, Ronald Riecke in 1994; a grandson, Carl Riecke; four brothers; and three sisters. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Russell Lucas officiating. Pallbearers will be Raymond Pahlow, Arthur Keuper, Delton Schnakenberg, Ronnie Riecke, Randy Riecke and Keith Reicke. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery near Ionia. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Miller Funeral Home in Lincoln.
