Kingsley passed away April 15, 1999 of natural causes incident to age and a long battle with emphysema. Ruth was born February 1, 1916 and raised in New Jersey by parents, Minor and Adele Lake. Later married and in 1939 moved west to So. California, where aerospace and defense industries provided new opportunities. She marveled about how beautiful California was then with clear skies, miles of orange groves, great weather, and the fabulous Pacific Ocean, which she loved. She was a housewife until her children were grown, then began to work. Retired with 15 years at Everest and Jennings, a top wheelchair manufacturer. Survived by son, John of Salt Lake City; daughter, Patricia of Oregon; five grandchildren; sister, Dorothy of Florida; brother, Nelson of Florida; brother, Bob of New Jersey. Preceded in death by husband, Jack, and daughter, Sandra. As she wished, cremation services were performed by IPS Mortuary.
